Chunky Guacamole

This is a great recipe! One of the things that I don't like about some guacamole recipes is that they turn brown if you do not eat it immediately. This recipe calls for lime juice so it will keep its color longer! And there is a lot of flavor!!

Ingredients:

2 ripe medium avocados, peeled, pitted, diced
1 large ripe tomato, diced
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
Juice from 1 large lime
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin*
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients, toss well and maintain chunky consistency. Serve with baked tortilla chips or celery sticks.

*Don't have ground cumin? An alternative recipe calls for 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes.
