New York City: Rockefeller Center and the Today Show

From our visit to New York City during the summer of 2015.
This was some of my favorites from our trip!

There is a restaurant here in the summer.  We were not hungry so this is the closest we could get to the statue.

We went to the top on a Sunday and toward the end of the day.  Which ended up being perfect as the crowds were very minimal and we did not wait in any lines!  Plus, I loved the views here more than the views from the Empire State Building.

Picture opportunity before heading up (can purchase for a fee at the end of the visit).
The top!  There are two levels to explore.

Taking pictures between the glass panels to avoid glare.

The top level.

View of the Empire State Building.

Great views of Central Park!
You can see Jimmy Fallon, Seth Meyers and Saturday Night Live but the tickets are very hard to get! You have to plan ahead for this one to get your tickets as soon as they become available online!

My husband did get in to see the Late Night Show.

The TODAY Show!  We did not get up early for this like many do.
But, I was happy with what we did see based on our late arrival.

The corner of the building, under the date, is the window you can look in and be seen on live TV.

At night when the show is not running.

When we visited the store, we found out that a portion of the Hoda & Kathie Lee show was done live there.  We stuck around to check it out.

We were close but did not get selected to participate.
Fun clothing options!

Even this shirt was really expensive.
Right in the same plaza area is a Lego Store!
