Hollywood, California: Bronson Cave

Since we visit southern California often - I am always looking for something "new" to see.  During our last visit my husband discovered the Bronson Caves.  The caves are known for a few movie locations but most memorable is "Batman's Bat Cave".  The area is one that we are familiar with so I am surprised that it took us this long to discover it.  Bronson Trail is a short hike.  It is in full sun which made for some fussy kiddos the day we went.  But, the cave is interesting (especially if you have limited experience with exploring a cave).  This cave has one opening on the front side and three openings on the back side.  You can also get a glimpse of the Hollywood sign from the cave trail.

The parking was right next to this.

Parking is on one side of this - the other side of the fencing gate is private.

Looking at the start of the trail from the parking area.

Trail.

The cave!

There are 3 "exits" on the back side but I could only fit two at a time in the pictures.
We didn't see any "bats" in this cave.
Hollywood sign in the background.
Heading back down the trail.
